5x09 - "Namaste" On Island

Present Day

1. Shortly before the plane landed, it actually picked up the radio transmission of "4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42."

2. It landed on the runway which was cleared on the second Island.

3. Why are Ben and Sun still in the present?

4. Seems that Caesar is very eager to search the Island.

5. Ben's broken arm healed very quickly.

5. Looks like there's a role reversal, Ben's the honest man now and Sun's the liar for this episode.

6. The way Christian talks about the other castaways leads me to believe that they might be dead in the present day.

1977

1. Radzinsky, Kelvin's former partner worked in the Flame station.

2. In the Flame is a small model of the Swan station.

3. Amy's baby is named Ethan. Which means that time has not changed even with the appearance of our castaways.

4. If Sayid is also in 1977, then why did he appear in a different location from Jack, Kate, and Hurley?

5. Jack's work assignment is Work Man.

6. Juliet bailed Kate out of a jam reminiscent of Kate's time as a fugitive.

7. Radzinsky has a shoot first, ask questions later attitude just like the young Charles Widmore.

8. Given the way Sawyer has matured throughout the series up to this point, it's clear that he's a better leader then Jack.

9. Sayid's meeting with young Ben is a reversal of their first meeting in "One Of Them."

5x08 - "LaFleur" On Island - 1977

1. Seems that some of the DHARMA people like to party when they're on the clock.

2. The surveillance station that Jerry and Phil are stationed in looks very similar to the "?" DHARMA station.

3. At some point during the DHARMA Initiative's time on the Island, they had brokered a truce with the Others. Was this Truce broken before or after Benjamin Linus' arrival on the Island?

4. Sawyer is now the Head of Security and is known as James LaFleur. Miles is his second in command.

5. Horace Goodspeed is currently the man in charge of DHARMA or so it would seem.

6. Amy is now married to Horace and pregnant with his child.

7. Why does the DHARMA Initiative send pregnant women to deliver their children on the mainland?

8. Juliet works maintenance on the DHARMA vans. I always knew she was a repo girl!

9. Jin also works in security and now speaks fluent english.

10. Juliet's successful procedure on Amy marks the first time she has helped a pregnant woman com to term on the Island.

11. Sawyer and Juliet is by far the most believable romantic pairing on this show.

12. It seems that three years are not enough time for Sawyer to get over Kate.

5x08 - "LaFleur" On Island - 1974

Time-Shift Number 14 continued

1. Correction: #14 is prior to the construction of the well. Very much prior as evidenced in this episode as we finally got a glimpse of the four-toed statue.

Time-Shift Number 15

1. This time-shift is the direct result of Locke turning the wheel.

2. Daniel is very detached from reality in the wake of Charlotte's death.

3. The Island's time-shifts are now finished.

4. Amy's husband, Paul was killed by the Others. Sawyer and Juliet killed the Others who were attacking them. The real question here is if history has now been altered by Sawyer and Juliet's intervention in this matter.

5. The Truce was brokered sometime prior to this point in 1974. What happened to cause this skirmish in the first place?

6. All it takes to get through the pylons is a mere pair of ear plugs

7. Sawyer's cover story perfectly incorporates the Black Rock.

8. Why is it that Richard Alpert and his people can pass through the fence at will?

9. Richard Alpert is the only person who Sawyer is honest with.

10. Why do the Other's need Paul's dead body?

11. Paul wore and Egyptian Ankh around his neck.

5x07 - "The Life and Death Of Jeremy Bentham" On and Off Island

Off Island

1. Locke also landed in Tunisa. As did Ben in "the Shape of Things to Come," and the polar bear in "Confirmed Dead." Whenever somebody moves the Island, they next appear in that spot.

2. Are the people who picked up Locke with the same people who tried to detain Ben after he moved the Island?

3. Charles Widmore had been watching the spot where Locke emerged.

4. Widmore was the Leader at one time. If he found the Island at the end of season 2, why couldn't he go back himself?

5. How did Ben trick Widmore into leaving the Island?

6. Charles Widmore's been watching the Oceanic Six.

7. It's gotta be painful for Locke to be back in his wheelchair even though he's not paralyzed.

8. Sayid's been working in building housing in Santo Domingo.

9. Sayid won't go back because he's been manipulated by Ben during the three years prior to Locke's arrival.

10. If Walt's dreams are true, then Locke's going to be in danger somewhere down the road.

11. Why didn't Locke tell Walt about Michael or ask him to go back to the Island?

12. Hurley's only been visited by dead people.

13. Why did Matthew Abbadon step out of the car during Locke's visit with Hurley?

14. Abbadon is implying that he knew that Oceanic 815 would crash on the Island.

15. It's disappointing that Abbadon would get killed like this. I really thought there'd be more to his character.

16. The ensuing car chase landed Locke in Jack's hospital.

17. Jack's already started to grow his beard. Looks like his drug problems are in full swing.

18. If Ben and Widmore are BOTH keeping tabs on the Oceanic Six, then why haven't their respective watchdogs noticed each other?

19. Ben only visited Locke to extract information out of him. Once Ben learned what he needed to know, he went and killed him. From this point on I'm going to go with the opposite of whatever Ben says.

On Island

1. It appears that we have found a new facility on the Island. This one set up by the U.S. Government in 1954, as evidenced by the issue of Life magazine found in it.

2. Two new players have entered the arena. Their names are Caesar and Ilana.

3. The plane appears to have made a clean landing on the Island.

4. And we now have confirmation, JOHN LOCKE IS ALIVE!

5. It presence of the boats indicate that they have landed some time during Time-Shift Number Six. Who brought them to the Island, and who did Frank run off with in the other boat?

6. Locke seems a lot more forthcoming to Ilana then he ever was to his fellow castaways.

7. If Locke remembers dying then the Island truly did bring him back to life.

8. Ben Linus did not disappear with the rest of the Six. What sets him apart from the rest?
