3x8 - "Flashes Before Your Eyes" Present

Not a lot happened in the present. This was mostly a flashback episode. There is one major revelation that I would like to talk about and that is the impending death of Charlie. I am going to say right now that Charlie is not going to die. My reasoning is the flashback for this episode where Desmond and Charlie briefly meet. Charlie is singing, "...maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me," I don't mistake concidence for fate anymore, and I'm going to say that Desmond may actually die in Charlie's place.
