3x7 - "Not In Portland" Flashbacks
Wow. This is my 23rd post. How appropriate that it comes with the return of Lost! Now lets go and see what Juilet's life was like.
1. Juilet's from Miami? That was a total fakeout at the beginning. I thought she was like Ben and had lived her whole life on the Island.
2. She sucessfully inpregnated a male fieldmouse (what's the point of doing that?) and her sister with her research.
3. Did the "good" people from Mittelos Bioscience cause that bus accident? It seems suspect that they would come to Juilet immediately after she identified her ex-husband's body at the morgue. Could Ethan have possibly been driving the bus? We've known him to do gruntwork in the past. While I'm at it, how were they able to keep Juilet under such high surveilence?
4. "We're not exactly in Portland." Is that how they rope people in to joining? Why the secrecy? It's obvious they're the "Others" we've all come to know and love, but why would they be dishonest with potential recruits? The answers to all this and more to be revealed... WHENEVER THE WRITERS DECIDED TO REVEAL IT!
Parting thoughts: We have been seeing a lot of impossible medical miracles on this show, which leads me to believe that there are at least four hot spots for where these miracles happen. They are: the Island, St. Sebatsian's Hospital, the faith healer's ranch in Australia, and Miami, Florida. What exactly is it about these places that allows for these miracles to happen? I cannot say.
