1. Will Juilet please pick a side? Kill Ben, don't kill Ben, she's flip-flopping worse then John Kerry! Okay, NOW she's helping Sawyer and Kate escape... for real. She's not changing her mind this time... good. Okay, onto the next one!
2. We were just about to get a straight answer from Tom for a very good question, "why just take him to a clinic," BUT NOOOOOOOOO! Jack had to go and cut ANOTHER artery and we'll probably never really know!
3. Yes it is possible to wake up a short while after undergoing anesthesia. They hold back so that you're not out for too long after you undergo surgery, so that scene with Ben wasn't entirely unrealastic.
4. Why does Jack tell Kate to leave him behind? Is Matthew Fox going to leave the show?
5. Is Juilet a prisoner? How many others are stuck there and for what reasons do the Others have for keeping them there against their will.
Kate, Sawyer, Alex and Karl
1. What is that room that Karl was trapped in? Some of the messages on that screen are, "we are the causes of our own suffering," "God loves you as He loved Jacob," "everything changes," and something about being a good seed. Could someone post the other messages for me?
2. BEN IS ALEX'S FATHER? Didn't I just slam that theory last week? Maybe he raised her and he's her father in that sense, because I believe she refers to him as "Ben." What's Ben's beef with Karl anyway?
3. Juilet killed Pickett! So that's what happens when you ignore the boss.
Parting thoughts: So this is what the producers meant by this season being like "Indiana Jones." I can't wait until the rest of the castaways come back to Island number 2. Maybe Paolo and Nikki will get killed in the crossfire :).

I bet that they way they get off the island is by contacting someone off the island to come and get them, and now they can't communicate to get someone to come. That's a thought. Matthew Fox better not leave the show, but wouldn't that be something if he did. wild. I too believe that Alex is just refering to Ben as her father as he raised her. I bet she doesn't even know about Rouesso, or however it's spelled. It seems to me that you still have some beef with the show. Did you not enjoy this episode?

Actually I thought this episode was the best one so far. It answered one of the most nagging questions I've had this season: "Is there a rift in the Others' camp?" Patience G, my beef with the show is diminishing.
I don't know if you heard this story but Jack was supposed to be killed in the first episode of the show by the Monster. They wrote for him the exact same way you see in the final version of the pilot with the exception of his death.
